Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a standard humanoid containment unit at Site 8. Pressure sensors are to be installed to confirm SCP-XXXX's presence within the containment unit.
An archival team consisting of personnel with exceptional memory ability is to be tasked with documenting SCP-XXXX. Sleep and work schedules of personnel within this team are to be adjusted to ensure that there are no less than five (5) archivists documenting SCP-XXXX at all times.
A standard routine of checking the current output of the pressure sensors every sixty (60) minutes is to be established in Site 8. In the event that none of the pressure sensors are indicated to have an output of more than 10 kg, Humanoid Containment Unit C23 is to be searched for any humanoid entities.. If no humanoid entity is found, all databases accessible by the Foundation are to be searched for any documents containing an unusual amount of adjacent apostrophes, commas, colons, semi-colons, and grave accents. Once found, the identity of the individual being referenced in discovered documents is to be discerned immediately, then the individual is to be designated as SCP-XXXX and contained.
Description: SCP-XXXX is currently a Caucasian male that appears to be between 30 and 40 years of age. It is 1.7 meters tall and 58 kg in weight.
The subject itself does not exhibit any physical anomalous properties. However, all information regarding the subject is slowly deleted after it is learned or documented, with the time for full deletion depending on the complexity of the medium used to store the information. Only information about the subject and its actions are deleted by this effect, while documentation on the effect itself is unaffected. The effects on conventional media are as listed:
- Written documentation slowly reverts to its original form prior being written on, completing revertion after approximately 3 minutes, with particles resembling eraser residue appearing on top of the writing medium during revertion.
- Digital documentation undergoes a similar event for approximately 62 minutes, with text slowly being replaced with a collective of apostrophes, commas, colons, semi-colons, and grave accents.
- Human memorization seems to be the most effective way of maintaining information on SCP-XXXX. Chemical alteration of the brain, similar in nature to standard amnestics, occurs for approximately 127 to 141 minutes. Individuals will still remember interacting wtih SCP-XXXX after this event, but will not be able to recall who the subject was or why they were interacting with it.
- Memetic agents designed with the purpose of instilling information about SCP-XXXX in individuals who view it start to radically deviate from their intended function after 20 to 25 seconds. It is currently unknown why this happens, as memetic agents are highly complex in design.
Information on identifying features (the subject's name, personal history, etc) is usually affected first, while more ambiguous details (the width of the subject's liver) are affected later.
When all documentation and memories of SCP-XXXX's existence is completely deleted by its effect, the subject expires in an unknown manner then another individual becomes an instance of SCP-XXXX and starts exhibiting its properties. There is no currently known criteria for the selection of new SCP-XXXX instances, and it is assumed to be completely random.
The number of previous instances of SCP-XXXX contained and the physical features of those instances are currently unknown. This information is considered irretrievable and lost.

Dr. ██████: Hello, SCP-XXXX. I just need to ask you a few questions, alright?
SCP-XXXX: Are- are you serious? You've done asked these "few questions" atleast three times now. I don't want to answer them anymo-
Dr. ██████: Look, just answer these questions. I don't want to have to try this the harder way.
SCP-XXXX: I- ugh. Okay, go on.
Dr. ██████: Okay, good. When did you first notice that you were… disappearing from people's memories?
SCP-XXXX: It was way back in ████. I was just watching TV, and then the doorbell rang. I went to open the door and there was just…
Dr. ██████: Please continue.
SCP-XXXX: It was my best friend from another town… and my landlord. They looked at me like I had two heads, and started asking non-sense questions like "Who are you?" and "What are you doing in here?" I just kinda laughed it off, until they pushed me and kept me on the floor then called the cops.
Dr. ██████: Mhm.
SCP-XXXX: So when the cops got to my house, they just handcuffed me and took me to the station. At that point I was real close to just shitting myself, because I had no idea what was going on. Some cop told me they couldn't find me on any of their records, and some racist asshole started accusing me of being an illegal immigrant. It wasn't a fun trip.
Dr. ██████: When were you contained by the Foundation?
SCP-XXXX: The Foundation? Oh, right, this place. I was just sitting in one of those jail cells inside the police station about an hour or two after I got sent there, then one of the cops opened the cell and told me to follow him. I didn't want to get into more trouble than I was already in so I did, and he lead me into some kinda armored vehicle.
Dr. ██████: And then?
SCP-XXXX: I got driven here and put inside the room with the bumpy floor. That's pretty much it.
